I have been to Peru in May and June 2006.
I will write a sort of “journal” about my trip to Peru. Since I only started blogging more almost 3 weeks after returning home, this is not a real journal. However, it should be interesting…

After the trek, some rest was necessary. Except resting, we’ve walked around the city. Another fun experience was paragliding. Later on was 4 days in the Manu jungle: totally different climate, landscapes and animals and more interesting people in the group. Also returning for the third time to Cusco was fun: it involved a political experience.
The ancient capital of the Incas is a beautiful vital city. Lots of impressing Inca remains in and around the city. It was very fun hanging out there, tasting special dishes and drinking quite a lot. I went from there to the famous Machupicchu through the gorgeous Salkantay trek, and also to the Manu jungle. Going paragliding is another notable experience for the intro… 
The first 10 days in Peru were in the touristic south. Lots of nice places, some of them very unique. Though everything was very comfortable and western in this region, some places were too touristic.Â
